On 26th of March in Paddock Club Laboratory Of Dancing Arts Model-357’s corporative party took place – M357 Student Championship M357 Battlezone 2006 – Spring Fight.

About 5 pm dancing people started gathering near the Paddock Club. Entrance was opened at 6 pm sharply and all the guests came inside. Club’s capacity is about 350 people: glamour design, big screens and nice interior. Everybody’s looking for party. Friendly welcoming atmosphere supported by Dj Light, playing warming up tracks.

Battle’s jury was a little bit late, so the event started half an hour later then it was planned, but music and fun helps guests not to focus on time. First performers who stepped on the stage were Antonio Kirichenko, Stas Alekhin, Anton Jukov and two Model-357 students: Nastya Parshina and Yulia Yakovenko. After their funny intro audience was presented the jury of the battle:

Battle started on the dancefloor, where people were having fun dancing on european and american hits. Speaker of the battle – Igor Burnishev (Band’Eros) involved audience and attracted its attention to the stage. After sortition first round began: it was self made demo for 15 minutes, using different styles – hip hop, jazz-modern, breakdance, krump… 12 participants showed their dance abilities to the judges and they eliminated 4 ones. After the first round there was contest for audience with CD/Mp3 player prize.

Then second round started. Task for 8 participants is to dance improvisation: two times per 30 seconds – and jury choose two the best: Nastya Parshina, Lera Manihina. Before final there was charming performance of sexy Natalia Tikhonova and her two students. And just right after: battle of two the best Model-357 students, where the winner is… Lera Manikhina!

But it wasn’t already the ending. Mirazh performed on the stage, showing students where to grow. Dancefloor was burning as if nobody danced nonstop before. Mirazh’s presence on the scene was changed by judges and awards ceremony began. The head of jury, Alexander Korginov, paid attention to professionalism of the speaker MC’s and Dj Light’s work. And Ksenia Rylskaya said about Lera’s performance: “She proved that women’s dance could be as interesting and energetic ad men’s one”.

Comments about Battlezone are also only positive: this event is standing out of other dance battles backstage. Most of them are boring and bad organized, but Battlezone turned out to be saturated by dancing and fun non stop. There was real party atmosphere, where people dancing so closed to each other felt the spirit of union and sharing. This corporative event made happy not only Model-357 Lab.’s members but it’s guests as well. Battlezone made a standard for following events: Model-357 dance party is a storm, involving everybody, happiness and drive!

1st Place Award was half-year M357 unlimited club card, portable multimedia music and video center, Battlezone 1st Place t-shirt, diploma and M357 wrist bands.
2d Place: M357 unlimited club card for three month, i-River CD/Mp3 player, Battlezone 2d Place t-shirt, diploma and M357 wrist bands.

Final results: Very important event in Model-357 corporative life has happened and M357 students demonstrated very impressive abilities. Organization was perfectly clear and all the audience was fascinated – that facts show that such kind of battles should be organized constantly. So… next fight is in October! Lets make it happen!
